Student life at Sixth Form offers a unique blend of independence and support. Students enjoy flexible schedules, interactive classes, and access to a variety of extracurricular activities and resources.
Students can form meaningful connections with peers and teachers through forums, group projects, and events. The platform provides a dynamic and engaging environment for learning and personal growth, preparing students for future academic and career endeavors.
Sixth Forms often provide dedicated support for university applications. This support can include guidance on personal statements, application deadlines, and interview preparation.
Additionally, students receive assistance in selecting suitable universities and courses based on their academic strengths and career aspirations. This personalized support ensures that students are well-prepared and confident in their university applications, increasing their chances of acceptance.
Your child will receive academic support from their Tutors and pastoral support from their Student Progress Manager. However, the support you provide at home is equally critical to their success. The level and nature of your involvement will depend on your child's age and learning abilities. Active parental engagement enhances their educational experience and fosters better outcomes, making your role indispensable in their homeschooling journey.
Tutors will make an initial welcome call and provide detailed, encouraging feedback on assignments. Your child can contact Tutors via the Canvas online system for help and support, though Tutors do not give online tutorials. The Student Progress Manager (SPM) will be your main contact with the College, ready to respond to questions and offer advice. The SPM will closely monitor your child’s progress to ensure they stay on track. As a parent, your support is crucial.
The learners stories showcase both their personal development and academic progress. Explore the distinct challenges, successes, and experiences they have encountered, and witness the positive influence that our nurturing atmosphere and committed educators have had on their educational paths.
Begin the process of enrolling in sixth form (A Levels) by filling out the online registration form available on our website. It is important to input correct student information and contact details.
