The vision and mission of the CIPS Certification Level 2 program is to develop competent procurement and supply chain professionals with a strong foundation in purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, logistics, and ethical procurement practices. The program equips learners with practical knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, contract fundamentals, stakeholder communication, supplier relationships, and operational efficiency, enabling them to support organizational procurement functions, contribute to effective supply chain performance, and progress toward advanced CIPS qualifications and professional careers in procurement and supply chain management.

What is the eligibility?

Candidates may register for the CIPS Level 2 examination if they:

  • Have an interest in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Are new to the profession and wish to build essential knowledge and practical skills.
  • Are currently working in procurement or a related role without formal qualifications.
  • Have completed secondary education or an equivalent qualification (recommended but not mandatory).
  • Meet the registration requirements set by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
