The 3-day Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst training program is designed to equip participants with the essential skills to analyze, visualize, and report data effectively using Power BI.

Day 1:

On Day 1, the course introduces the essential concepts of data analytics and Microsoft Power BI. Participants begin with an overview of Microsoft's data analytics tools and the fundamentals of Power BI.

The course covers how to connect to, import, and optimize data from multiple sources. Participants also learn to handle performance issues and resolve common data errors effectively.

Practical sessions focus on cleaning, transforming, and loading data. Learners will also shape and profile data to improve its quality and structure for analysis.

The day concludes with the fundamentals of data modeling. Participants explore tables, dimensions, hierarchies, and relationships in Power BI.

Hands-on lab exercises allow participants to apply their learning in Power BI Desktop. These practical activities help build confidence in data preparation and data modeling.

Day 2:

On Day 2, the course explores advanced Microsoft Power BI concepts and reporting capabilities. Participants begin with an introduction to DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating calculations and enhancing reports.

Hands-on lab sessions help learners practice both basic and advanced DAX techniques. These exercises strengthen their understanding of calculations and business logic in Power BI.

The course also focuses on optimizing Power BI models for better performance. Participants learn DirectQuery optimization techniques and industry best practices.

Learners discover how to create engaging and interactive reports in Power BI. They also improve report formatting and user interactivity through practical exercises.

The day concludes with dashboard creation in the Power BI Service. Participants build and optimize real-time dashboards while gaining practical experience in dashboard design.

Day 3:

On Day 3, the course introduces advanced Microsoft Power BI features. Participants learn how to identify patterns and trends using advanced analytics and AI visuals.

Practical lab exercises allow learners to apply data analysis techniques in real-world scenarios. These activities strengthen analytical and visualization skills.

The course continues with workspace management in Power BI. Participants learn how to create workspaces, share reports, and manage assets efficiently.

Learners also explore file and dataset management. The module covers parameters, datasets, and best practices for managing Power BI resources.

The final module focuses on row-level security in Power BI. Participants learn how to secure sensitive data and provide user-specific access to reports and dashboards.
