Furthermore, the revised 2026 qualification consists of two assessments: GIC1, a scenario-based open-book examination followed by a closing interview, and GIC2, a three-hour practical workplace risk assessment with an accompanying action plan. Moreover, the qualification requires at least 63 taught hours and approximately 40 hours of private study.
