We are hiring a Learning and Development Manager to lead training programme delivery, admissions growth, talent development, and business expansion initiatives. This role requires a commercially driven leader who can effectively integrate strategic planning with operational execution across admissions, corporate training, business development, and HR functions within a dynamic academic environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-oriented, and capable of building scalable systems, including centralised talent pipelines, while driving revenue growth and organisational performance.
You will be responsible for leading training programme delivery, managing admissions strategy, and driving organisational growth through integrated learning, business development, and talent management initiatives. This role combines strategic admissions leadership, corporate training management, and revenue-focused business development within the education and professional training sector.
You will engage with prospective students, corporate clients, institutional partners, and internal stakeholders through effective communication and strategic coordination. The role requires converting enquiries into long-term enrolments and corporate engagements, leading partnerships, developing talent pipelines, and ensuring continuous improvement in programme delivery aligned with organisational and market demands.
Strategic Admissions Leadership: Oversee and optimise the full admissions lifecycle from enquiry to enrolment, implement growth strategies, and monitor KPIs to improve conversion rates and candidate experience.
Training & Programme Management: Lead the design, development, and execution of professional training programmes, ensuring alignment with market demand, quality standards, and accreditation requirements.
Business Development & Revenue Growth: Drive business development initiatives, build strategic partnerships, lead proposals and negotiations, and convert opportunities into long-term revenue streams.
Corporate Training & Client Engagement: Manage corporate training solutions, advise clients on customised learning programmes, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Talent Pool & Workforce Pipeline Development: Establish and manage a centralised talent database, implement structured sourcing strategies, and support hiring needs through talent mapping and workforce planning.
CRM & Data Management: Maintain and optimise CRM systems to track admissions, leads, and candidate pipelines while enabling data-driven decision-making.
Learning & Development Leadership: Develop and execute L&D strategies, conduct training needs analysis, and introduce innovative delivery models to enhance learning outcomes.
HR Management & Organisational Development: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR compliance while supporting organisational structuring and employee development.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with corporates, institutions, and internal teams to support growth and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to data protection regulations (e.g., UK GDPR) and maintain high standards of operational and organisational compliance.
